Estimados padres de familia:

Bienvenidos a un fabuloso nuevo año escolar 2014-2015 en la escuela Discovery.

Me presento ante ustedes como la maestra de Español y Estudios Sociales de su hijo(a). Mi nombre es Cecilia Vallecillo, y tengo seis años de experiencia en la docencia. Actualmente estoy terminando mi sengunda carrera univarsitaria – Educacion Básica Bilingüe en la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán. Este es mi primer año en Discovery School  como maestra de Español (N-K) y Estudios Sociales (2-5).

Mi objetivo principal es que todos los estudiantes puedan hablar, leer, escribir y entender el idioma español a un nivel adecuado cumpliendo con los requisitos del Ministerio de Educación y el currículo de Discovery School. Asi mismo, que aprendan los conceptos y destrezas necesarias para conocer su comunidad, este bello pais y el mundo entero.Será un año emocionante y lleno de aprendizaje para su hijo (a).

Dear Parents:

Welcome to a fabulous new school year 2014-2015 at Discovery School.

My name is Cecilia Vallecillo and I am your child’s Spanish  and Spanish social Studies teacher. This is my first year teaching at Discovery School. I am currently studying my second degree of Basic Bilingaul Eduation at Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán. This is my first year teaching at Discovery School.

My objective in this class is for the students to be able to speak, read, write and understand the Spanish Language and be able to communicate with other Spanish speakers. Furthermore, to help students to learn about their communities, this beautiful country and the word. I will fulfill all requirements from the Honduran Ministry of Education and the Discovery School curriculum.   It will be an exciting school year filled with lots of learning.
